I don't think Garmin offers an extra $ervice/option if I want to extend the Epix warranty beyond the basic one year included. Anyone know if there is a third party you can get something like this, after the purchase, for a $1000 watch? In my experience small consumer electronics like this, have usually died or broken way too soon for me (usually 1 day after the 12 month warranty expired) due to general failure or my stupidity.
