7.2 Bug - Smart Notifications Still Arrive When Set to Calls Only

Updated to latest software and maps, charged up, and restarted.

Watch still vibrates for text messages even though I have the vibration set to off/silence for text - both in General use and Activity Use

This happening to anyone else or am I missing a new setting?

Yes. Same with me. Had to turn off even the calls or my watch would be buzzing all day.

Yea, this is really annoying. I even turned off all vibration and it still vibrates with every text.

UPDATED: The issue has been resolved with software update v7.35.

I've just tested this on my epix (I've already updated to software 7.20 using Garmin Express though). I went to menu>Notifications & Alerts>Smart Notifications>General Use>Texts>Vibration>Off (it was set to On before) and got my wife to send me a text message; the watch showed the notification on the screen but there was no vibration. So as far as I can tell, everything is working just fine, but it may be you need to have updated to software 7.20.

Just to close the loop on this issue -

I did a full reset of the watch and re-paired the watch to my iPhone. I set my vibration settings on the watch this time instead of using Connect iOS app.

Everything working as expected now.

Try a reset and re-pair if you run into this.

Our engineers are now looking into a smart notifications issue. (It might only happen when set to "calls" only.)

Yeah I changed my settings for notifications on calls only in both the watch and the app. However I was still receiving text notifications.

Same issue here. When smart notifications set to Calls Only I still get text and app notifications from my phone (iOS)

Same issue here : iOS 15.4 / Epix 7.2. On Calls only I get all notifications. On Call + SMS I do not get apps notifications displayed,
