First problem: Back button has a barely perceptible pressure point.

Mine has an extra click it seems - like it makes two clicks, once when you push in and once when the button is coming back out.

Is that what you are experiencing?

Most of my buttons click once and twice while releasing. But the back button doesnt click while pressing and also the second click while releasing is not noticable.

All buttons are supposed to behave the same, but the back button is so spongy that you don't even know if it reacted.

Got it - mine seems to be different then.  My back button makes a second click after you remove your finger.

I have the same issue. Both up and down buttons and back buttons two clicks feeling totally mussy

Hi, I noticed the second click with Down button as well (lower left button).  

all buttons are double clicky and mushy on my 7x. way worse then my 6x

The same in my Epix, buttons are terrible ;-/ 

For those who bought via Garmin.com, they are RMAing devices with the issue. Just did mine.

Unsure if it’ll fix the problem, but as someone who’s worked on hardware before…If you want to get the attention of a company having quality issues, high return rates are definitely an effective tool. It destroys profit margins and they’ll fix it to make it right. If you’ve got it, don’t accept such a low quality bar for such a premium devices and price point. Make your displeasure known with a RMA swap.

I did that 2 or 3 times with my F6X Pro, and one side benefit is you end up with extra charging cables

Also, it seems like after all these years and all the watches they've made, they should really have the buttons figured out by now.
