Enduro 3 question(s)

Hello!

I had an Enduro 2 some time ago and sold it due to voice prompts coming from the phone while navigating which could not be turned off. So my questions is if this is still present on the Enduro 3.

Second question. How are your experiences with the Enduro 3 as a bike computer? Is it ok with navigating? How is the compatibility with a Varia and the Ralley 200 pedals?

Are there any major issues present?

Thanks!

Arno

  • Hello Arno,

I have been using the Enduro 3 since its launch for cycling, running, and hiking.

Voice prompts can be played through "connected devices" or can be turned off. Both is working for me.

The navigation has been working perfectly for some time, but only with tracks (Follow Course"). The “Use Map” function is quite slow and often displays a message saying that no route is available, even though the map should be able to do so.

I use Varia together with the ConnectIQ apps “Smart Bike Lights” and “My Bike Radar Traffic.” Everything works as it should.

I don't know anything about the Ralley pedals, as I use “Asioma” power pedals, which work perfectly with the Enduro 3. I have never had a device that has worked so reliably from the very first second.

I don't see any serious problems for me at the moment, but that doesn't mean you can be sure that all the advertised features will actually work under all conditions.

Nevertheless, I would recommend this expensive watch only to someone who likes to play around with new technologies and isn't put off by the amateurishly and often frustrating poor software (updates).

    I hope this helps.
