Incredible: headphones work perfectly for the first time

Today while running (without navigation!) my headphones worked perfectly for the first time since I bought my Enduro 3 shortly after they were released in 2024. I enjoyed 70 minutes of music without any dropouts or crackling!

What had I done? I didn't change anything! Nothing at all!

Just yesterday I did a similar workout and had to switch the device from one wrist to the other several times, still experiencing pops and clicks. Apparently GPS, especially with navigation turned on, often interferes with the Bluetooth connection, which means you have to bring the watch within 30 cm of the headphones to ensure a connection, often of poor quality.
In my opinion, it's ridiculous that Garmin has no luck or doesn't even try to make the headphones work for everyone and in every case.

  • This is very different than my experience.  Let me first say that I went through 6 different headphones before I found a pair that would let me listen to music without any breakups...   I don't think Garmin fixed anything yet to be honest so I think you probably know by now you just got lucky.     Having said all of that,  I did find a set that works perfectly...     Shokz Openrun 2's work like a dream.      I don't think GPS matters much on most headsets,  because when I was working out in backyard with bands I wasn't using GPS and it was still cutting out with my generic headphones...  I honestly think it's a watch issue that hopefully they will still try and fix because most headphones don't work with them...    Again,   Shohz openrun 2's work incredibly well.

  • AirPods Pro 2 here, no problem, for 945, e2 and now e3
