Feature Request: Enduro 3 / fitness - bodybuilding

Good morning,

I'm writing to report what I've sent to Garmin, both by email and via their website's contact form, and I haven't received any response. Do you know if there are any specific addresses I should try?

This situation is absurd; if I didn't do trekking, my smartwatch would be almost useless...

........................................

Good morning,

I'll try to be as brief as possible. I'm writing from Italy and would like to offer a suggestion to solve a problem that, apparently, has been present for a long time.

As a user, I primarily use my Enduro 3 smartwatch for fitness and bodybuilding. However, it becomes almost unusable for accurately tracking exercise sessions that aren't pre-loaded in the menu.

I propose a solution that could resolve this issue and, I believe, make many users happy: create a section where the end-user can manually input exercises. This wouldn't even require animations. It would allow users to have correct exercise names without incorrect translations, and most importantly, everyone could write them in their preferred way.

I kindly ask you to evaluate this suggestion because, as it stands, the device is becoming nearly unusable for its intended function, and I, along with many other users, am genuinely disappointed.

I truly hope for your feedback and support, and I wish you all the best.

Sincerely,

  • Do you know if there are any specific addresses I should try?

I recommend suggesting it to Garmin at Share Ideas | Garmin

You can also write your own names into the notes of the workout, just selecting an exercise using the same muscle group as your own intended exercise. Or simply use the "Free" mode without a pre-defined workout.

  • This situation is becoming quite stressful. When you've correctly loaded your workout onto your device, you should definitely be able to track improvements and trends in your exercises. I used to rely on a notebook for this... it's hard to believe we're facing these issues with a smartwatch of this level.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try sending a message to the address you suggested too :)

  • I can't help in other way then recommending you to pick up exercises from the list of existing ones (and there are hundreds of them), and write your true name into the Notes of the workout. I did not mean that you should use a notebook - the editing of a workout in Garmin Connect allows adding comments to individual workout steps.

In this way, you can then follow the progress of individual exercises, in Garmin Connect.

  • Unfortunately, we don't have many great alternatives, and I also have to contend with the poor and terrible Italian translations, which often make troubleshooting even more difficult. We hope someone at Garmin understands this problem because, in this context, the device is truly of little use. Thanks for your kindness and availability :)
