Climbpro and rucking activity on enduro 3

Hello all!

been using the rucking activity so as not to screw up my vo2 max with the hiking bug… love the Climbpro option but when I am using routes (navigating saved routes) despite adding the data field in settings (ie would expect to see it) Climbpro doesn’t show up and have to add it again while doing the route… every time I stop and resume later (filling water, eating etc) have to add again… it seems to work when I return to start at the halfway of an out and back but not ideal… is this a bug? Or I am simply setting it up incorrectly?

Thanks!

Josh

  • been using the rucking activity so as not to screw up my vo2 max with the hiking bug…

What do you mean by that? Hiking does not record VO2max.

  • ClimbPro only classifies it as a climb if:

    • Climb distance (in meters) multiplied by the percent of the average gradient should be greater than 3,500.
    • A climb must be a minimum of 500 meters in length.
    • Average gradient must be a minimum of 3%.

    ClimbPro Feature

Some data screens are only visible under certain circumstances. Like the navigation screens. To see them you need to have a course selected. Otherwise they are not possible to add. It is probably the same with ClimbPro. It is only possible to add if you got a course selected that got climbs. After you've added those data screens they will stay until you remove them.

  • Lovely bug that hiking thinks running and so drops vo2 as not walking as fast at same HR… may have fixed but was present early on with my enduro

  • Yep course added and at base under rucking settings climb pro added so SHOULD show up… when I add during the activity it’s there but disappears if I stop and resume later (during lunch break etc)…. Just odd never did this before on my fenix 5 + before I upgraded… suspect an issue with rucking activity
