Guidance Alerts not making any noise to alert me

So I've got guidance alerts on and I get a vibration alert at turnings during navigation on my trail runs but I don't get the audible noise alerts that others have on some older fenix watches. Have I got to enable something or is this another bug?

I they added a "route settings" page when starting navigation. So if you're say starting navigation with a saved course, select the course then go down to the 3 dots next to "more" and then there will…

I they added a "route settings" page when starting navigation. So if you're say starting navigation with a saved course, select the course then go down to the 3 dots next to "more" and then there will be a "route settings" page that has "guidance alerts" and "voice alerts" options.

I have guidance alerts on for the selected route.

I don’t have any other ideas. It’s working fine on my Enduro 3, so I’m guessing something might be wrong.
Sorry I couldn’t be of more help!

One question, is the "Turn Notification" set to On (Garmin Connect) for this route?

I think so yes I always get the vibration just not the sound I'm guessing something is disabled somewhere..

does the audio output setting make any difference?

Must be a bug if I select audio output and select watch in the route settings when I go back a menu it still says off not watch that I've just selected.
