Strange alerts every 1km

today my watch for some reason alerted me to the circuit nonsensically. Every time I had e.g. 3,22km, it showed 4, when I had 4,22km, it showed 5 etc. until the end of the run. Is this a bug or?

  • The lap alert shows the lap number. Not the number of kilometers. If you do a workout it will mark laps every time it moves to the next step. For example if you do a base run it usually has a warm-up first. When the warm-up ends it will mark a lap. If you run 0.22 meters during the warm-up the next lap lap will be marked at 1.22 and the next at 2.22...3.22...4.22.

The same happens if you press the lap button yourself. Every time a lap is set the lap distance will reset and start to count from 0.

  • Okay, thanks for the info. It looks I accidentally press the lap button! :-)

  • I hate the Lap Key button because I end up pressing it and not realize what happened. So I turn the Lap Key button off in all of my activity types and simply set the auto lap to a defined interval and let it do it's thing.
There are a few things you can tweak in different activities.  I think it is nice to customize my favorite activity types and hide the activities I'll never do.
