I started using the Enduro 3 today and can't find the ECG App under finish setup in the Connect app, like it should be.
My location is set to Germany and I also used the GPS already. What could I be missing?

That should have happend but did not. I did a update to latest firmware first and then completed all points of the setup. No ECG.
I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with the ECG. For…
I would try a soft reset of your watch. If that doesn't work, then maybe a factory reset. Here's a great article about doing the resets. https://www.wareable.com/features/how-to-reset-garmin-watch…
I'm pretty sure it's available in Germany. You have to add ECG as an Activity. Press the Activity button (top right), scroll down or up to Edit. Click Add, then look for ECG app.
A hard reset and deleting all data, then activating ECG before a firmware update worked to solve it.

It's in none of the lists when I press the activity button. Not as activity type and also not as app. And I can also not add it to the list. Also does not appear in the Connect app. :(
Here are the instructions from Garmin https://www.garmin.com/en-US/garmin-technology/health-science/ecg/use/
Alao, you may want to check to see if you are running the latest firmware (13.35).
Thanks for your suggestions. But yeah, updating was the first thing I did.
I checked everything again.
newest watch firmware and newest Garmin Connect version.
"Finish setup" disappeard after I used it for everything else, never contained the ECG prompt.
ECG also not in the app list or in "add to apps" on the watch.
I've been using a fenix 6 for 4 years so I'm kinda certain I don't overlook anything and it's a Garmin problem.

I believe you can backup your watch settings and data, but I've never done it.

It gets added automatically after you complete the setup in garmin express on your smartphone. So go to your phone app.
Removing watch from Garmin connect and adding it again should do the trick
