Coming from a 7 pro I am quite disappointed with my Enduro 3 so far.
I’ve noticed quite a few issues, some I can see other people are having as well.
Compared to my 7 pro the gps seems a lot less accurate in auto select mode. It seems to struggle to follow the trail even with no tree cover. The gps also takes around a minute to get a gps lock where my 7 pro at the same time is pretty much instant.
The backlight on touch/keys after sunset doesn’t work. Backlight on touch/keys works fine in the on mode.
Battery seems to be draining a lot faster than expected. Same settings as my 7 pro with pulse ox and WiFi turned off I seem to be losing around 5% battery per day with 30 mins gps use on average.
If I wake up before my alarm I can’t end my sleep with the start button like I used to. The only way I have found to do it is to open the hrv status widget which then gives me the option to end sleep. Not ideal.
There is no option to turn the seconds off on the default watch face.
The most disappointing thing is there is no way to completely silence the watch. Come on Garmin you are better than this.
Overall this has been a pretty disappointing first week with the watch and I can’t see how it got released for sale with all of these issues. Surely they should have been picked up in testing? It is a letdown when my new watch doesn’t even manage to do the basic things that the previous generation watch did just fine.
