No way to stop navigating course during activity

During my first run, I select Navigate -> Saved -> Select Course -> Do Course, then start the activity. I've attempted to go back to the Navigation swimlane and can only go Back to Start but no option to Stop Course (long holding Up) as per the Enduro 2 and all Fenix 7 (and earlier) watches.

The option exists, here's how to access, this UI is incredibly backward.

After Navigation has started a course, Long press Up, select course, hit select button once more, then select "Stop Course"…

If you are following a course you will see the course as the top item when you hold up button. So, hold up, press start to select, press start to view the menu, press start to stop course, press start…

What about long holding Start? Did that work? I recall one of the reviewers mentioning that.

I've disabled my Start Shortcut (which will be triggered if long holding Start), and attempted. There is no long hold start activity trigger, the first button press triggers the expected Resume, Save...options.

Good spot. I can't find this either. I'll quite often use a course for part of a run and then stop it, or stop it earlier to switch to another course if I am stringing them together for a longer event.

Please fix this garmin.

I also could not find it. I have to look for it again. I often stop and restart navigation on my Fenix 7X because Live Strava segments don't work during course navigation (that is another thing that used to work and that Garmin had crippled at some point). If this issue isn't fixed, this would be serious reason to not upgrade to Enduro 3.

This somehow doesn’t work for me. Once I’m doing a course, I long press up, go to “saved” (that’s where my course is), select the one I’m on, and I select “more” under “do course”, but there is no “stop course” there.
