Enduro 3 Battery Life

I have been using my new Enduro 3 for just under a week now. Previously I'd been using a Fenix 7x Pro Sapphire Solar.

With the same usage pattern, the Enduro 3 is using about 5% battery per day, whereas the Fenix 7x Pro used about 4%. Even though the battery percentage ends up lower at the end of the day on the Enduro 3 than the Fenix 7x Pro, the predicted number of days remaining is still much higher on the Enduro 3.

I'm interested to know how others are finding the battery life on the Enduro 3, but so far, if the reported battery percentage is to be believed, I'm fairly disappointed with the battery life on the Enduro 3. If the reported battery life is incorrect and the remaining days is correct then it's awesome and I'd be very happy with that.

Is anyone else in a position to comment on their experience with battery life on Enduro 3 as compared with Fenix 7x Pro?

My first and only run thus far was GPS Only, external HR monitor, very little map time, 1:37, with a reported 1% battery drop. However, outside activities, with the same (on prior watches) 24/7 wrist HRM and pulse ox turned off, seeing more battery drain daily than my Enduro 2 and my Fenix 7X Pro Solar. I'm hoping it's not the seconds on the watch face updating 24/7 (which I opened another thread on), but have no idea what else could be siphoning this much power each day.

Yeah, actually doing an activity with GPS running, doesn't seem to add much extra drain on the battery. It's just something in the background all the time that's draining it way more than I'd expect.

I'll try turning seconds off tomorrow and see if that has an effect.

I have had consistent ~5%/day battery drain on my F7X Pro since it came out (see my previous threads) and now my Enduro 3 is doing the same thing. I haven't had enough time to test properly, but what has worked for me with the F7X Pro was disabling the phone connection. I can then get the advertised, if not better battery life, like I used to get on the Enduro 2 and original F7X (non-Pro). Since I already disable and don't want notifications or any alerts from my phone, this works fine for me. I'm going to be disabling my phone connection on my Enduro 3 as well to see if that reduces the drain. The test I always try to start with is if in battery saver mode, left alone, off wrist, low power watch face, can I get close to the advertised drain? On a side note, I can get advertised battery life from my Epix Pro 2 51mm just fine (w/AOD off).

I'm using GLANCE watch face from Connect IQ (also using this on the 7x Pro with seconds enabled). I'll turn seconds off on the GLANCE watch face.

To me the only watch which could deliver its advertised smart watch battery consumption both at its purchase and a year later was Enduro 1.

On those days when I record no activities its daily consumption is a mere 1.5-2%, I mean at high absolute battery level, and when it reaches 50-60% the daily consumption goes up to 2%-2.5%, under 25-30% it is appr. 2.5-% per day.

So Enduro enjoys the benefit of reverse tuning (underclocking).

Usually, IQ watchfaces have a higher battery consumption than build in stock watchfaces.

The first thing I would do is uninstall all iq staff. Even if it wasn't a problem for you on the f7.

Same here: from fully charged to 36% in 3 days (with 2 activities of 1.5 hrs each). Of course I played a bit with customizations the first day but did not expect such a drastic drop in battery life. I will monitor the evolution on the next days/weeks. For now I'm quite disappointed.
