So Garmin tell us if you intend to enable ECG in Europe and if so when.

It just takes few minutes to activate the ECG app in Europe by faking the location of your phone and then it works. No point in lowering yourself to an Apple Watch

As soon as they get the approval from the EU authorities. And if you ever had some personal experience with the EU bureaucracy, you may realize that it can take its time.
I solved the problem by buying an Apple Watch. Sorry, Garmin, I had enough of your sloppy, clunky trash.

Excellent idea! Having to charge the watch every evening keeps you perfectly focused on the important stuff.
(also rather good for us, since there is one less moaner on the forum ...)
I second this and I can confirm it's working. I used this guide to do it: https://tinyurl.com/56cxmk5k
Will you also get your weather reports from the new location?
No, you just have to fake the location during the setup of ECG. After that is done you turn off the faked position and everything will work as before + a working ECG app.
If you keep the location faked, of course, but ideea is to fake it, use it once, and after that you can revert it back to real location and it will keep working wihtin EU.
