MTP with linux

Hello,

I did try to connect my Enduro2 or my Fenix7 on my linux PC via the usb cable but whitout success.

Both Garmin are running with the 20.22 soft.

In the syslog file I can see that my Fenix7 (and Enduro2) is not recognized as an MTP device.

The same with a samsung tablet galaxy tab S7 on Android 13.

Can someone confirm this ?

I forgot to add that both Garmin (Enduro2 & Fenix7) are in USB Mode = MTP (Media Transfer)

Update 20250523

It is ok now.

When the Enduro 2 is connected via usb cable to my linux PC it stays in the state "Start maps download ?"

Once I decline the download then the device (Garmin) is detected as an MTP and I can mount it on my system.
