Dear Garmin Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern regarding an incident involving my Garmin Enduro 2 watch, which I recently lost in the ocean due to a failure of its nylon strap.
As you are aware, the Enduro 2 is marketed as a rugged, high-performance watch suitable for swimming, diving, and other demanding activities. While I have been impressed with its features and functionality, I was disappointed to experience such a critical failure in a strap that should ideally withstand exposure to seawater and associated conditions.
During a recent swim in the ocean, the nylon strap gave way, causing the watch to detach and ultimately become irretrievable. This incident not only resulted in the loss of a valuable device but also raised concerns about the reliability of the strap when used in marine environments.
Given that the Enduro 2 is marketed as being suitable for water-related activities, I believe it is reasonable for customers to expect the materials used to meet the durability standards required for such conditions. I kindly request that Garmin reviews the design and material selection of the nylon strap to ensure it aligns with the advertised capabilities of the watch.
Additionally, I would appreciate your advice on how this situation can be addressed. I am hopeful that Garmin will take this feedback into consideration and explore possible solutions to prevent similar issues for other users in the future.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
