Watch will not connect

My watch will not connect to my phone after the latest update. I've restarted the watch several times and have restarted my phone with no luck. Any suggestions?

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with this. For this, I would recommend trying these initial steps:

    1. Ensure the phone OS is on the latest version
    2. Uninstall the Connect Mobile app
    3. Clear the phone cache and history
    4. Ensure the watch does not appear in the phone's Bluetooth menu. If it is, please remove the device
    5. Powercycle the watch and phone. To do this, hold the Light button until this shuts off. Then power on again
    6. Reinstall the Connect Mobile app
    7. Try the pairing again ( Be sure there are no other Bluetooth enabled device nearby)
  • wait for Garmin to release the next update and pray that they fix the Bluetooth connection issue that the last update caused with the Enduro2. There is no way to fix your watch by any means that the Garmin tech support recommends - I have tried it all, it does not fix the underlying Bluetooth issue with the watch.

if I leave my watch next to my phone and leave Garmin connect open long enough, it will eventually (usually) connect (sometimes I have to turn Bluetooth off/on on the watch and kill the app and restart it), but I've been turning on wifi for sync purposes at home and it will actually transfer data reliably that way.

I just turn Bluetooth off at night because I know it's going to lose connection a million times and buzz my wrist/wake me up every time.
