Issue when loading courses in Running activity

I have detected a problem when loading courses in the Running activity.

The course takes more than a minute to be loaded and meanwhile a percentage progress appears. Moreover, this morning I hace tried to load a course during an activity and the Enduro 2 had restarted itself.

This issue does not happen with the rest of the activities trail running, cycling, etc.) nor did it happen to me with previous versions of SW. It happens with every courses I try to load.

I have version 15.77 installed.

Please can you tell me if it is a known problem and provide a solution?

    I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. Since I am not seeing other reports of this, there are a few troubleshooting steps I would recommend trying. 

    • First, I would recommend trying a hard reset on the watch. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as opposed to selecting power on. Then power this on again.
    • If you are not already, try creating a new course in Connect directly to send to the watch. Does the same issue occur? 
    • You can also try resetting the Run activity app on the watch using Garmin Express
    1. Steps to remove the Run App
    2. Disconnect and powercycle the watch.
    3. Reconnect the watch.
    4. Change the IQ drop down in Express to All apps. 
    5. Click on the Cloud icon next to Run to reinstall this.

  • The problem was solved by resetting the values of the Run Activity app configuration.
