The HRV since the update always takes a lower measurement. There are also errors in the reading of the heart monitor during the race, being very low or very low even when taking it off and putting it on several times.

I've not had trouble with the strap (I KNOW where I am at a given level of exertion, and right now the weather bites so I've been using my dreadmill which is absolutely repeatable where outdoor running isn't) but I HAVE noted the HRV value is low, consistently, by several ticks compared with my former Fenix 6 (which I came from -- see my other thread on this.)
BTW if you're using a chest strap be aware that I've had a couple of them fail over the many years of use and one of their failure modes is to start reading in truly BIZARRE ways, sometimes for the first couple of minutes and then they're "ok" and worse, it looks repeatable when it happens too. Several years ago I had this totally whack up my lactate threshold readings which impacts heart rate zones if you have it set that way (I do) and other statistics. I ultimately replaced the strap and it went away immediately.
I just read your thread. In my case the fenix 7 and the enduro 2 have the same heart rate sensor, so I assume it is a matter of the update.
