Not able to save map locations after the new update.

I'm curious if anyone else is having this problem. I've had it for about 5 months and its still persisting. If I try to save a location via the Map (or a button shortcut) it appears to save. However when I go to Navigate and then try to select a location the saved location list remains completely empty. Is anyone else having this problem?

Soft reset doesn't work. I do not want to reset to default because I do not want to lose all of my data.

Does my data remain on my phone?
Will it sync back?
How can I backup watchface modifications I've made?
How can I restore device settings?

This is a frustrating situation. Is there any other way to possibly resolve this without deleting and removing numerous settings and data I've edited and collected over the year?

The full reset will need to be done due to the specific issue your watch just had is an older software bug going back 2-3 updates back. I am sorry there are no other options.

1) Your prior saved daily wellness and activity metrics remain on your same Garmin Connect account as long as you always pair your watch back through your Connect APP using the same established Connect account.

2) Your watch will be fully reset and you will reacquire your Training Status etc. again as if your watch is new out of the box again.

3) Not all items will backup and restore.
