Enduro 2 heart rate tumble during exercises

Hey everybody,

does anyone from you experience the same problem like I am?

I'm just starting my cycling activity (but not only that, it happend the same by running, by hicking an so on). The first 2-3 minutes shows my Enduro a heart rate about 120-125 bpm, credible.

Afterwords it tumbles down to 60, oder 65 oder even 58 bpm. It seams that's noting I can do about it, I try to move the watch to a different position, it doesn't help a bit. After another 2-3 minutes, it goes back to normal.

It is not happening all the times, at any activity I make, but very oft (2-3 times from 5, approx.).

Should I worry about a hardware problem, like heart rate sensor deffective, or can it be an algorythm problem, has anyone from you any ideea?

Thank you all a lot,

Traian

  • I am sorry you are having the issue. The answer for whether your issue is a hardware related issue or not for your OHR sensor will depend on your experience the last 11 months wearing your Enduro 2. If you wear it the same and it worked great initially but has now developed the issue as described, please reach out to Outdoor Product Support in your region.

The Heart Rate Sensor on My Garmin Watch Is Not Accurate

  • Hi Garmin-Chris,

Thank you very much for your answer. The isuue with the tumble of heart rate values came to my attention not for so long ago, maybe two-three months .I took notice of it accidentaly and very oft afterwards forgot to check it out. Just now, for two-three weeks it seams to  happen more often. I took a look in the activity  history and it seems I had just had for the beginning this problem, maybe not so oft like now and not with so unreliable and unplausible readings. I thing it is most likely a hardware issue and furtheron  my Fenix 6x does nor exhibit this issue. Logically I am wearing the both watches similarily, not to lose, not to tight and so on.

Thank you again for your help, wish you the best,
