MK2i cannot log dive entry and exit location

I had been using Mk1 then MK2i for couple year.

Not sure if this related to the recent update, all of my new dive cannot log any entry and exit location after 19 May.

I had checked im activities - single dive - GPS setting, where i hadn't turned it off. And i always start to single dive in the watch, waiting for the GPS signal bar on the top of screen as green before entering water.

From past experience, i would lose then entry location sometime. But exit location always log.

Anyone have similar issue recently?

Mine first stopped logging exit points about a year ago; and then after the most recent update a couple of weeks ago stopped logging exir points as well. My wife's new G1 Descent is experiencing the exact same issue with No help or answers from Garmin.

I think my issue was I was not waiting for the GPS indicator to go green before splashing in.

As noted in my earlier input on this thread about a month or so ago, both my Garmin MK2i as well as my wife's new G1 are experiencing the same issue; first with the Entry points no longer logging; and since September, neither Entry or Exit points logging. As mentioned, the latter issue seems to have developed in the wake of an update, I have since been in touch with product support and have shared with them screen shots from our Garmin Dive App, reflecting the missing location data. Despite this problem not being an isolated incident, Garmin support seemed genuinely surprised by the issue and assured me they will try and figure out a solution.

I guess the problem is that the amount of people who post about it online vs actually make the effort to report it to Garmin and gather the required logging information is very low. Reporting something officially is more effort for people.
