Garmin Striker Cast Depth Sounder on Descent Mk2

I'm looking for a back up depth sounder and something I can use when not on my sailboat for depth readings. I'm looking at the Garmin Striker Cast for this but want to know if the there is a app so I can see the depth data on my watch instead of looking at it on my phone, which is the primary way with the Striker. thanks.

I do not own the Striker device, but looking at the specs and at the manual, I do not think the data broadcasting to other devices is available. However, I think it is an excellent idea, and I encourage you to suggest it to Garmin at Share Ideas | Garmin

... looking at the specs again, it looks like the Striker devices do not have any Bluetooth, ANT+, or Wi-Fi interfaces, only cable connection, if I am not mistaken. If it is really the case, then unfortunately the direct link between the Striker and a watch is impossible.

Striker Cast uses Bluetooth to communicate, so linking it to a watch seems plausible and would be a cool option.
