Rock Climbing Activity?

I see on Garmin Connect that there is a Rock Climbing Activity, but it doesn't appear to be included on my watch. However, there is an indoor climbing activity, which I imagine would be very similar. Is there a way to have it auto log an activity as the 'Rock Climbing' activity that is in Garmin Connect, with similar metrics to indoor climbing?

No, but you can change the type…

No, but you can change the type in Garmin Connect, once you save and sync the activity.

You can also use a Connect IQ app allowing to save an activity under any available sport ID, such as for example the apps "Any Sport" or "Any Activity", but I am not sure whether it fulfills your other needs.
