So I just got the MK2s and have used it 4 times for freediving/apnea and the first couple times it worked normally (i.e. you finish dive then back out of the activity and it asks to save) but then I used it Friday for a dive and it saved seemingly normally, but after that I went to use it yesterday and realized the surface timer had been going since Friday still and it was not not registering any depth or readings. So I tried restoring defaults which did not work. It would not ask to save when backing out and surface timer continued (said 41hrs+ which I think was also killing my battery life). I tried to reset pressures multiple times and then finally had to do a FULL factory reset on it and it finally would register the dive, then saved once and went back to what it had been doing before and wouldn't register depth again or any other readings, would not ask to save. It also was reading the same surface interval in apnea hunt and wouldn't ask to save there either. Has anyone else experienced this? I am warrantying it, but the Garmin rep said they have never had this concern before.
