When can we expect a firmware update to the Descent Mk2i? Version 8.40 is already almost a year old and all the Multisport improvements that we have seen for Fenix 6 and later since then have not been implemented on the Descent yet. It is about time to provide an update for a watch as expensive as the Descent! Thank you for a guidance what we can expect.
I had the OG version and unfortunately I learned quite quickly that the emphasis of keeping the watch up to date (in a timely manner) and their customer support was rather poor. I was hoping that with the GEN2 version, they’d improve that but it’s abundantly obvious that they have not.
I bought the Descent G1 knowing this though but I very much like the Instinct series, so I sucked it up and bought it. Unfortunately, they couldn’t even get the battery reading right in the G1….
