Is there discussion to change the frequency or another way to address the sonar sound with the T1? Can this be done via an update? Even at low power it is too loud for the warm water diving many of us do.

Thank you, I have seen the previous discussions, but with the recreational warm water community largely avoiding the current set up I was curious if changes were in the works.
Garmin: Descent Mk2/Mk2i Updates & Downloads
Changes made from version 8.20 to 8.40:
Mk2i Only] Added a new, T1 transmit power setting - Low. This setting is quieter than the Normal setting, but may have reduced range. To use this setting, pressurize your regulator to turn your T1 on. Then go to Dive Setup > Air Integration > Transmitters > (your T1) > Set Transmit Power.
So, wondering if anyone else using the T1 Transmitter has noticed the sea life immediately fleeing as they approach even the vicinity of where they are? I dove in Jamaica 13-18 Feb 2023 and noted most of the sea life...human being being in their proximity aside...literally turning away almost immediately as I simply came near...20-30 feet. Is the sonar frequency potentially bothering them? Does it cause them any discomfort? My proximity to them was never close enough to remotely disturb them. This sonar signal is the only factor I can currently come up with.
I've not noticed this AT ALL. I've been diving in and around Okinawa for the past year, and all the water life seem to just swim right up to me. I run my transmitter off a very short hose and have the power set to default. On occasion, I can hear the sound if I'm listening for it, but the wildlife seem to not even notice.
