Tried to connect the watch to my phone via USB C cable. Unfortunately, the watch is not displayed as a device. Thus, an export of the fit files in another program is also not possible. Is there a workaround for the Andoid phones?

You have to do it through garmin express via windows, not sure why cant be done with android
Hi, I ask for export with Android, so your Message is not so interesting. I now that I can export the Files with Windows, and it works. However, when I with the Boat on Safari, I do not will take a Windows Computer with me. I want export all Files over my Android Phone to Dive Log. With no access to Internet and no Windows PC now is it not possible.
If you have it set up correctly then the watch will automatically sync activity FIT files to your smartphone via Bluetooth. Then you can download the FIT file by going to the Garmin Connect web site, clicking on the Gear menu, and selecting Export Original.
If you want direct access to the FIT files through USB then you'll need an On-The-Go cable.

Hi nradov
This with the USB Host Mod I will tried. Thanks for this Solution. I will give all Feedback if it works. So I tried with the Descent and the Fenix 6. OTG will not working for new Device. I find an Email from Garmin Support about this Problem on the Dive Log Forum.
Good morning Mr. xxx,
thank you very much for your message.
Retrieving the .fit files in this way via the phone is not technically intended by Garmin, as the device will not recognize the phone as a computer.
Please use a Windows or Mac PC to export the desired files
This the Answer from the Garmin Support about the access from Android direct to the Garmin Watch. :-(
