Hi, I want to know about this also, anyone know how to configure to use in sidemount and if there a mode that warns you when you should change tanks? (like scubapro G2 do)
Yes, i do. Works perfect
There is no indication when to switch tanks like the new Shearwater software adds to there lineup.
Hi, thanks for you answer and nice pictures, the alarm for tank swap could be a good option to add to the software, do you agree? or do you think that is unussefull and just a fancy feature? I think that will be easy for garmin to add it, it is appears to be just a software improvement, right?
Does this accurately calculate sac if your bottom gas is two separate transmitters in a multi gas setup? There's no way to set an additional transmitter's mode to bottom gas, only deco or backup.
The transmitters aren't tied to any specific gas. Each transmitter has individually configured volume and an option to set if it should be used for sac calculations. It'll use the pressure drop and configured volume for the transmitters used to calculate the average sac. It won't take gas compressibility into account, so sac will be overestimated a bit at high pressures, but that's very common.
