SKIN BURN

Hi there,

Since I got this Garmin watch (MK2) I turned all the sensors on all day and put the watch in my left hand.

I notice a red circle mark on my skin below the sensors that is really painful. I used to wear a Xiaomi Stratus watch and Apple watches on the same hand without any issue.

I am wondering if this is a sensor issue ? the big size of the watch or it is a particular issue with that one piece of watch that is not working well.

Anyone got the same "burning sign"?

yeah mee too... thinking to buy a new strap not the silicone one.. my Suunto has silicon and when i was using it had no such problem..

Due to the additional strap imprint on the skin: possibly attached too tightly and that also pressed the sensor too hard onto / into the skin?

I stoped all the sensor and moved the watch to the other hand.

a week after there is no any marks on the skin. Yesterday I turned on again the sensor and now I can see burning mark on the skin again.

I am planning to visit a medical skin professional doctor to check it. So fat, Garmin support ignoring my emails. I need to contact FDA and asked them to investigate this issue. I am sure Garmin will not ignore them !

If there is a medical issue with that watch that do harm the users, the company must not ignore them.

Suggest calling or chatting vs waiting for an email. National holiday in the US was yesterday, so could delay a response. Per their message...

As mentioned, call or chat. Don't wait for an email. A week ago is still within the 5 business days considering the weekend and the holiday.
