Surf Activity

Hi there.

Very keen on purchasing this beautiful watch, but I was wondering if it comes pre-loaded with the Surf activity?

I've heard that the activity was released in a beta launch a few months ago, but was awful, so I'm wondering if there have been any further updates since?

Yes this would be much more preferable than the golfing for me - I am not a golfer and probably never will be

I thought it is already there? Did you try the "Add" screen if your watch is already on 8.40? I've used it before.

Just a question: I have the Garmin "surf app" on my Fenix 6xPS (never used it and I never will):

if I look into this app, I have (only) two data pages:

1). with 5 data fields (hr, timer, Speed, GPS, time of day)

2). with map page

Are you talking about this app? Or is it another one?

You should be able to add a customnized app with this data. Or perhaps I don´t understand/ missed something...?

Supplement: ok, I missed the wave metrics/data...

Perhaps you can give that data field a try?

I agree. I'm trying to find this out as well. This is a watch (and more) for people who love the ocean. They put golf and freakin cross-country skiing on here, but not surfing??? That makes absolutely no sense. Hopefully they correct this. If they do, I will buy this watch immediately.

So disappointing that the surf app went to the mk1 and others,

but the flagship mk2i gets a backseat still to this day!

Any ideas when an update will be coming ??
