Descent G2 vs Instinct 3 AMOLED

Could Descent G2 be described as an I3 AMOLED with additional more advanced diving functionalities? Or is G2 leaving out some of the key I3 functionalities - if you want a G2 as a better looking I3 without the torch, would it be a good option?

Thanks Laurie, the comparison chart doesn't provide much detail in terms of end user experience (menus/usability), and reading the scarce feedback/reviews of the Descent line up it seems that there are some differences there. Just wondering if someone who likes and owns previous gen Instincts would be disappointed if they "upgraded" to G2 instead of i3 (leaving aside the obvious diving features).
