We have a relatively large kitesurfing community in Denmark, and many kitesurfers use either a Woo device or an app called Sufr for measurements. Sufr supports Garmin Watches now, however, not all Garmin Watches supports Sufr!
The problem with some watches / softwares from Garmin is, that it does now allow suffiecient data to be collected in a short enough amount of time to make precise judgements of height. This is technically possible, but requires an software update to unlock this feature from Garmin.
Could we possibly get an increased rate of data collection in the next update ( accelerometer and gyroscope, 100 times per second (hertz) on compatible watches). See more here, where Sufr also lists all the compatible Garmin devices: https://www.thesurfr.app/garmin/
Seems kind of weird to have a dedicated watersport/dive watch, be one of the few devices not suitable for doing one of the popular watersports.
Kind regards
