Us spearfishers usually use boat to get on location and we also use BOAT function on watch to monitor speed and maybe some way points. But currently there is no way to pause boat and than turn on/change to SPEAR function and later convert it back wich would be ideal. If I finish BOAT function every time I stop my dinghy to do some diving and than restart again I get a mess off alot of activities in my garmin app and strava despite being one boat trip with some diving in between.
I've thought for a while that it's not necessary to do all the stopping because even in BOAT function if you dive you get the metrics of a dive on a watch but those dives are not saved by garimin app.
p.s. Also diving function does not have navigation option. Wich some users would love to have it there.
