Watch froze during activity, I managed to turn it off with 15sec on light button. But when turned on it just stays on Garmin logo screen.
I've also plugged in power source, nothing changes still stuck at welcome logo screen. Any advice what to do?

Despite saying they won't honour original warranty but only limited 12 month service decided to provide me a new watch. Even they weren't able to reset it.. I am somewhat happy with result that I am getting…
I finally solve my issue this way : In Garmin Express > Tools & Content > Tools > Deleted History.

This methods do not work for me; reset default settings is to no avial when turning on while holding back button just garmin welcome logo, delete data also does not work because I am unable to get into the menus.
You can also try pressing and holding for ~15s the key combination Light + Down + Start
This isn't in documentation, thanks for pointing out another option.
I've just tried that to but it just turns off the watch. When I turn it on it still stays stuck on Garmin welcome logo.
Really frustrated here with 14 month old watch.
In that case I recommend reaching out to the Product Support through their website at https://support.garmin.com. Use the Phone or Chat options for an instant response. Email exchanges usually take a few days.
I succeed to factory reset the watch by using light + start + down after a lot of tries
then the watch started again but as soon as I link it with my phone the provlem came back…
To me it looks like a bricked firmware, possibly due to a forced powerdown during a firmware update. It could be a hardware problem too. If you manage to revive it again, I'd try connecting the watch to a computer with Garmin Express, and check for updates there. Otherwise, I highly recommend contacting the Support.
I succed to reboot it again fllowing below steps, inspired by Descent mk2 documentation
This reset will clear all settings, user profile, records, activity history, Connect IQ content, and other data.
It is recommended to read the steps in full below before performing them.
Ensure the watch is powered off.
You may need to hold LIGHT for up to 30 seconds to turn the watch off.
Hold LIGHT until the watch turns on.
When Descent logo appears, press and hold DOWN, START/STOP, and BACK/LAP.
After the first beep release START/STOP.
After the second beep release the remaining buttons.
Now my watch works with Firmware 16.1 but If I pair it with my phone, then the problem come back...any ideas ?
