Software Update for Descent G1 in APAC: Any News Following Instinct 2 Update?

I noticed that the Instinct 2 has received a software update to version 12.25 for APAC.
Does this imply that the Descent G1, being based on the Instinct 2, will also receive a software update soon for APAC?
