I’ll call in to report this again by phone tomorrow, but just wanted to post another case of a mid-dive reboot.
At 82’ depth during an enriched air single gas dive, I pressed down to view second data screen and got a garmin logo and reboot.
Fortunately it booted directly into dive mode and appeared to have stored dive time.
This was witnessed by the instructor who I was working with.
This is the second G1 Solar I am on after noting excessive in-water reboots. FWIW it seems the reboots are mostly associated with pressing buttons. Typically I use the tap interface to scroll screens, and this was the first time I used buttons. Most of my previous crashes were in Apnea or pool lap modes and associated with button presses.
