Trying to control inReach Messenger Plus from D2 Mach 1

When trying to control Messenger Plus from D2 Mach 1 the app on the watch tries to read messages from inReach and fails - just freezes trying to read them. Sending a message is possible only after they are read, hence neither sending nor receiving from the watches is not possible.
Both devices are pairs and the watch recognises the Messenger.
Does anyone have a solution?

Are you talking about the Garmin inReach Widget? Unfortunately not usable/reliable, as you have noticed. On my Epix 2 Pro is a pain, after a power cycle it works better for awhile , but the problems are remaining. I do not use it anymore. Garmin must revise this widget, but nothing happened for months…

Yes, I am talking abut iR widget that appears on the watches when you pair them with inReach device (like a sensor).

The widget used to work flawlessly with my previous inReach Mini 2 but doesn't work anymore with Messenger Plus

The problem is resolved after updating inReach Messenger Plus software to the latest version 5.02.
Now D2 Mach 1 sees inReach and talks to it as should, and is able to send/receive messages
