If i just need flight logging, any other models can keep the track?

I do have a GPS 20+years ago that it can record my oversea flight path. ( i forgot the model)

I tried some models( maybe 5to 8years ago) but they cannot catch the GPS signal when the jet speed over 300km/h

I want to know beside the D2 series, does Fenix 7 x or other models can record civil aircraft flight logging? I man the GPS chip still function when i am in th eair at 800km/h+?

Yes, the Fēnix and Epix line can both be used for flying. I have used the Epix 2 and the F6Pro as test beds for a flying app I'm working on. That said, I'm grounding 180-230 kts in the Seneca but should be just fine in anything faster.

Thank you. Can you tell me which function on Fenix & Epix can do the flight logging? I am also searching log book on App store but just do not know if the phone GPS can catch signal.

It's the "track me" app on the Fenix. It's "iffy" depending upon the aircraft and where you are sitting. Sometimes I get good satellite lock and it tracks well. Other times, it loses contact. My cell phone almost always has a good track for flights. for speed, direction, and altitude.
