METAR not displaying “favorite” on watch face

The D2 Air watch shows METARs on the watch face from a nearby weather station and not the saved “favorite” airport. The software is up to date. Not sure how to get it to display favorite airport again? It’s making me crazy, any ideas would be much appreciated.

I followed this instruction. I hit the back button on the METAR widget. I entered my home airport. (KHGR, in this case) The METAR widget displayed what I entered.

I go back to the watch face and the METAR…

The only options on the D2 Air for the METAR config are "Favourite", "Nearest" and "Flight Plan". If you long press the BACK button from the METAR widget page then you will see the options menu. The first item is the METAR that the watch is configured to show. If you click on that it will then show your "favourite" and allow you to chose a different option. You should double check that you have the widget configured to show the favourite and not the nearest.

I go back to the watch face and the METAR shows a nearest, KRSP. I push the back button, go to settings, aviation and I see that METAR menu listing KHGR as my favorite. But back on the watch face it still displays KRSP.

I am stumped.

If you're still having issues, you could also try using the METAR/TAF widget that I wrote. It has some advantages over the built in one.

This app you've written is a good work round . My watch is displaying to correct runway info but other metar details from a different airfield !

This is how to do it on the D2 Air Mach 1.

Menu button - Long press

Select “Watch Face”

Start Button will bring up a new menu - scroll down to “Weather” and select.

Choose either “Favourite” or “Nearest”.

If you choose “Favourite” your problem should be solved.
