WiFi sync always shows "1 file failed" but Connect data seems ok.

Hi all,

Ever since the major Garmin outage last year, whenever I do a WiFi sync on my D2 Delta (FW6.10) I get the message that 1 file failed to transfer. What is confusing is that the metrics seem to be accurate (well what I am looking for anyway) on Connect.

Is anyone else having this issue?

You are running into a relatively benign issue that has existed for as long as I can remember, across multiple devices and multiple generations. The way I am usually able to get rid of this is to sync the watch using a cable and connecting to Garmin Express on a desktop/laptop.

I agree that it is a benign issue @drobert and I do regularly connect via cable to my laptop. It appears to work fine for a few days after a hard reset but then (re)develops it's recalcitrance. I actually think it is a datatype mismatch that would be resolvable via a firmware tweak..... well, postulation anyway.
