I've noticed that I am not able to download quite a lot of the watch faces to the D2 Delta, although the D2 Charlie works fine. After finally getting through to the support people (and trying more and more watch faces and data fields) it appears that the problem has to do with the lower software version number on the D2. The latest is 3.00, but on the Charlie, for example, it is 5.00. Apparently some (many) of the apps don't handle this well. (It's even true for some of the Garmin watch faces, like the Titanium, no matter how much Garmin wants to blame it on 3rd party developers.) Here is what Garmin said:
"We've seen that issue when the creator of the watch-face chooses the wrong software version for their "app" when they design it. You are correct, the maximum software level for the D2 Delta is currently v3.00, but some of our other watches with similar software have higher software versions available - this seems to be leading to the unlicensed amateur designers of these apps making the mistake of not choosing the correct corresponding software level for their program when they code it. We'd suggest contacting the app creator about the issue or trying a different watch-face."
Hopefully this all gets sorted out soon, but I see this at the moment with the D2 Delta (and Delta/PX).
