D2 Bravo Titanium - version 3.00

Garmin has released version 3.00 for the D2 Bravo Titanium. From Garmin's D2 Bravo Titanium "Updates & Downloads" page, the list of changes are below.

Changes made from version 2.90 to 3.00:
  • Added support for Connect IQ 1.4.4
  • Added support for improved Wi-Fi security.
  • Added 'Sync Time with GPS' option to Clock menu and Hot Key options.

The D2 Bravo also received an update, from 3.90 to 4.00, as detailed on the "Updates & Downloads" page for the D2 Bravo.
  • See the latest D2 Bravo forum thread for the bug list, since the Titanium model is basically just a D2 Bravo with a wrist-based HRM sensor. However, if anyone reports any issues that only appear to affected the D2 Bravo Titanium I will start a separate list here.

There is currently a compatibility issue with Huawei mobile devices and Garmin watches, which limits the ability to pair the devices and impacts the ability to retrieve data via the mobile device and send it to the watch. This, in turn, means that it is borderline impossible to get updated data for the built-in METAR app or any third party apps (such as the METAR/TAF Connect IQ widget). This is a known issue, which you can read more about here in the forums, such as this thread: https://forums.garmin.com/forum/into...garmin-connect

UPDATE: I see on Fenix 5/5S forum that the latest beta includes a fix for Huawei phones. I don't know if This will eventually hit the D2 Charlie (since it's based on the Fenix 5/5X series) but will need to be backported to D2 Bravo watches. With that in mind, it is probably best that you call Aviation Support (if you haven't already) to try and get that on their radar.

    Cheers,
    Douglas
