From day 1 I thought the same thing. The marq athlete watch face should have customizable data fields. Heart rate is certainly an extra drain, to what extent I have no idea. I’m running a digital face…
And it doesn't tell the really 'battery life'.
The figures (even the long term avg) are changing all the time ... although the watch is used the same way every day ... !
So be careful using those figures ...
Another hard reset on 3.40, starting from scratch once more.... No pulse oxy, no activities, no notifications, stock digital watch face without seconds....averaging 2,4%/hour. Starting the hike activity and letting it just sit there, it takes about 15 hours from 100% to zero. So something is definitely not right with (my) expedition...
I charged mine from 4% to 100% yesterday at 7am with Pulxe Ox and Sleep Ox on (why have it if you can't use it).
90 minute run yesterday (no music, external HR, Stryd) and a 40 minute run today (music, external HR, Stryd).
The battery is sitting at 59% after 32 hrs of use.
This is the second full charge so hopefully will improve.
Update: This is with Pulse/Sleep Ox on but no notifications or back light use
Fully charged Sunday by 8am
90 minute run Sunday (no music, external HR, Stryd)
40 minute run Monday (music, external HR, Stryd)
35 minute run Tuesday (no music, external HR, Stryd)
40 minute run Wednesday (music, external HR, Stryd)
The battery ran all the way down after today's run @ 2pm - the battery was at 14% battery before the run.
So just over four days of battery.
