Instinct [New User] - Stroke Detection and Bike/Elliptical Distance ???

Dear community,

1 - How can I see my Stroke Type (freestyle etc.) in my app? I use Instinct Standard while swimming. I see all data except the style.

2- How can I see my distance during Gym Bike and Gym Elliptical ? I tried but nothing happened.

3- Do I need an additional sensor/equipment for Gym Bike/Elliptical etc. Do you have suggestions to use the watch for elliptical and cycling?

I like to see your general suggestions related to Instinct. I am a New User

1 - You will need to view your Connect Mobile APP in landscape mode to see the details of your indoor swim:

The base Instinct has been out 3+ years. Which is why you see the newer generation of the OHR and PulseOX sensors added to Instinct Solar series.

But still, Garmin should have added OHR before right? I mean, how was the tech 3 years ago? Just wondering.

2 years ago products has the HR in swimming. Spending a lot for the watch. Definitely worth it. But very small lack can affect entire watch.

The HR sensor is a completely different one.

What bluefish stated is correct. The OHR sensor generations change with newer generations of devices as the technology improves. The Instinct Solar series has a newer generation OHR sensor and adds PulseOX to the series for the first time.
