Check out the Stress graph. High Stress = Low HRV and vice versa.

You better get Instinct 2 instead. Garmin has them on sale now, and the Standard Edition costs just $199. You will get not only the HRV value, but also countless of other metrics and features not available on Instinct (VO₂max, Training Status, Training Load, Training Effect, LTHR, Connect IQ app, etc, etc.)
