Buttons dont work properly

When i press any buttons of my garmin instinct they dont work. Only the light switches on. I try to see the weather or heart rate, for example , and the only response is the light thst goes on.

its the update, go to 11.00 and wait for more stable version. I had same issue

Exact same thing started happening to me yesterday with Garmin Instinct. Hopefully it’s a software problem that can rectified.

The same thing is happening to me I'm trying to get a hold of support now.

It's almost like auto lock is on, but I have turned that on and off several times with no change.

A long hold of the GPS button will wake up the watch.

Just saw the 12.10 beta release post.

Everyone is complaining about this issue in that thread.

This started happening to me a couple days ago also. I can hold either the up or down button for a second then the compass comes on then I can press the back button to cycle thru the menu using the up or down buttons. And too often the weather data never shows either. Bluetooth and GPS location is on on both the phone and watch and its paired.

I too had this issue and what worked for me (at least so far) was to Reset my Instinct back to default settings.

It did not. It updated to the "v12.10 Public Release", not to the "v12.10 beta Public Release Candidate" that you can still see here. The Public Release was announced and started to roll out a few days ago, but was pulled out, and the announcement removed, when the bug reports started to appear here on the forum (and certainly overwhelming the support lines too).
