Instinct crash and reboot during activity

Hello!

Anybody else experiencing crashes and reboots during activities/navigations?

I've noticed it happening quite often really, today I was running 12km and it managed to crash twice. True enough the Instinct picks up right where it left but it's still annoying.

Am I the only one with this? Should I worry about it? Ways to work on the issue?

The waypoint name can be 15 bytes long. Garmin web connect.garmin.com does not allow names more than 15 characters long, but allows UTF-8 characters, which are 2 bytes long. So a name 15 characters long…

Yeah that's correct, bluetooth won't work under water, but it would do the same even if I am running. I went for exclusion assuming it's a battery problem or the chip or an update that's tangling things around.

Either way the "strain" from blue tooth and vibration might have been the trigger for this problem.

It would shut off when an alarm wtih sound and vibration os activated

During running the BT does not go out of the reach of the phone and back again, so I would not blame it on the BT in that case, rather the vibrator pulling a too high current. Contact the Support and request a replacement. If you are lucky you'll get one even if the watch is no more covered by the warranty.
