Instinct - no elevation chart after upgrading to version 6.60

After the update, no elevation graph is visible for any activity.

I used only official updates and I can't remember which version I had before.

Same problem here (italian, forgive my bad english).

Today I upgraded my Instinct from 6.10 to 6.60 via Garmin Express (I use only official update).

All courses now are without elevation data. This happens with old courses, already on the watch before the upgrade, and also with new courses synchronized via Garmin Connect. The message is "No Course Elevation Data".

If I try to follow a course during an activity, I have a flat elevation chart at the start. That chart change as you follow the course.

Obviously at the start I cannot know how much altitude gain remain until the end.

With 6.10 was all perfect, it's really depressing. I check all parameters, calibration, etc. Everything is ok. Seems to be a firmware bug.

There is the possibility of downgrade to a previous version?

The previous version is included in the last beta version instalation package at https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=14527

However, maybe it is just a question of some settings, since it works all right for some of us (including myself), so you may prefere waiting what Garmin tells. Also, you perhaps can simply activate the elevation correction in Garmin Connect Web to get the elevation data. Did you try that?

"elevation correction in Garmin Connect Web" it is not necessary, because at the end of the activity, all data displayed on Garmin Connect are correct.

The problem is before (if you check the elevation chart of a course on the watch) and during the follow of a course (no elevation chart with your progress along the way and no data about how much altitudine gain is missing until the end).

I upgraded from 6.52 to 6.60 .

And I would like to remind the old bug in UTF-8 string handling in case of the .fit files imported from Garmin Connect web. This bug survived all versions, including the last one 6.60 . See the video https://youtu.be/P_AFXksXPPs and its description for details.

Same issue (empty graph). Direct jump from 6.10 to 6.60.

It is also worth mentioning that the watch loads data from old activities for a very long time.

Another one here. Updated from 6.10 to 6.60 and now the altitude profiles are empty. Can I downgrade to 6.10 again?

Today I downgraded my Instinct from 6.60 back to 6.10 following that instruction: Elevation problems solved. Slowdown problems solved.

The boring thing, as explained in the instruction, is that the downgrade brings the watch back to factory default settings. So all user settings (mobile phone connection, preferences, data pages, etc) were lost.
