Instinct Hangs on Saving screen

Hi there,

My instinct hangs on the Saving screen , while trying to save, post a pool workout, it does break out after i connect it to garmin express, but i lose the pool swim count.

Is there a patch that Garmin is working on please? Or is this something i should send to the repair for?

Its probably the HRM tri that makes Instinct freezed on saving screen. I tried not using the HRM tri and got no error at all. Yesterday I ran on tredmill and used hrm tri and it freezed on saving screen again. Is there anyone using HRM tri and get the same problem?

I have used HRM Swim and contacted Garmin Support regarding the issue that this strap doesn't work with swimming activity and they said that this strap isn't supported by Garmin in connection with instinct. They referred to Garmin product page where been listed all supported instinct accessories and there is no neither HRM swim nor tri. So if it's really an issue with him tried, you will unfortunately not get this fixed in a future FW updates until it gets support.

Hi there!

The Save Hang after a pool swim still persists, i live in singapore and hoping the next 2.80 upgrade will solve this, could i please understand when the upgrade will hit asia? Its pretty frustrating having to reset constantly..

I talked with Garmin Asia about this problem via email. They said the 2.8 fixs it. It will be released on mid Feb for APAC users. Now I fix the issue by restarting my watch right before working out. No problems so far.

Garmin Instinct Solar

I experience the same problem...haven't been able to save a pool swim since 7th Jan. Seems unpredictable. Often as I try to save it goes to Navigate and loses the activity data ! Watch doesn't automatically know you're walking and create a step count ! Very disappointing
